Verbal Reasoning Tuition
Is your child preparing for the CEM or GL-Assessment 11+ exam? I offer extensive support and explicit vocabulary instruction to help your child achieve success at the exams. Through practical activities, your child will learn tips and tricks to enhance retention and application.
Comprehension Tuition
I provide in-depth instruction and teach your child about reading comprehension and equip them with the skills to answer comprehension-style exam questions. My tuition is carefully designed to meet the individual needs of your child.
Creative Writing Tuition
I tap into your child's innate creativity and teach them the art of writing. In a nurturing environment and through practical activities and exercises, your child will learn about and become confident in all aspects of writing.

Who I Am
My name is Nkem Ivara. I am a member of the Tutor's Association and an experienced trainer/tutor. I offer tuition in 11+ English, CEM and GL-Assessment Verbal Reasoning, as well as English for KS3, KS4 and GCSE/IGCSE . I have a proven track record of designing and delivering training material to suit individual needs. With this tailored approach, I have been able to equip children with the necessary skills to meet the challenges of the 11+ and GCSE examination system. I appreciate the pressures involved in the exam process so I work in a manner which puts children at ease whilst challenging them to achieve their potential.
